Magnolia
Oaks Farm provides horseback riding lessons and training.
Magnolia Oaks Farm is located in Shelby County, Alabama,
south of Birmingham, close to Montevallo, Calera, and Alabaster.
Lessons are taught by a certified riding instructor,
also a member of the American Quarter Horse Association of Professional Horsemen.
The emphasis is on horsemanship and
building solid fundamentals. In addition to riding skills, every student
is taught horse care, how to handle a horse properly from the ground, safety,
and the basics of equine psychology.
The riding instructor provides lessons
based on a curriculum developed by the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA).
Our school horses
are quarter horses. Horses suitable for beginners to advanced levels are
available.
The riding instructor has
competitive experience in shows sanctioned by the and the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA),
Palomino Horse Breeders of America (PHBA), and the Alabama Open Horseman Association.
Whether what you desire in an equine experience is the basics or the competition
level, we can assist you with your
goals.
